Periarticular Distal Tibial Locking Plates

Zimmer® Periarticular Distal Tibial Locking Plates

Plate Features:
  • Anatomically contoured plates create a fit that requires little or no additional bending and are helpful for metaphyseal/diaphyseal reduction.
  • The anatomical shape of the head of the plate matches the shape of the distal tibia.
  • Locking holes in the plate head allow placement of the screws to capture fragments.
  • The low profile plate facilitates fixation without impinging on soft tissues.
  • The last diaphyseal plate hole is designed to accommodate the tension device (00-4817-000-05).
  • Thick-to-thin profiles make the plates autocontourable.
  • The tapered plate shaft design allows for a minimally invasive technique with submuscular passage of the plate.
  • Distal Lateral Tibial Locking Plates are available in six lengths, from 6 holes (94mm) to 18 holes (237mm).
  • Distal Medial Tibial Locking Plates are available in six lengths, from 6 holes (120mm) to 18 holes (264mm).
  • Dual-compression slots accommodate periarticular screws or conventional stainless steel screws and allow bi-directional compression.

    Zimmer® Periarticular Locking Plate System

    DISTAL RADIAL DORSAL LOCKING PLAT

    Zimmer® Periarticular Locking Plate System

The Zimmer Periarticular Locking Plate System combines locking screw technology with the advanced design of Zimmer Periarticular Plates to create constructs for use in comminuted fractures or where deficient bone stock or poor bone quality is encountered.
By combining locking screw holes with compression slots, the plates can be used as both locking devices and fracture compression devices.  This technical innovation, combined with the transition in plate thickness – thinner in the metaphysis to thicker in diaphyseal areas - gives surgeons the ability to lock in the perfect fit.

    Versa-Fx® II Femoral Fixation System
    Strength
The Versa-Fx II Femoral Fixation System combines the strength of 22-13-5 stainless steel with a low profile tube/plate junction designed to reduce soft tissue impingement and irritation. An anatomically contoured side plate helps ensure a snug fit through the entire length of the bone/plate interface.
A wide selection of sizes, tube/plate angles, and screw hole configurations provide the versatility to use the Versa-Fx II System in a variety of indications, including intracapsular, intertrochanteric, and subtrochanteric fractures with extension into the piriformis fossa (Winquist Type III comminuted fractures). The tube has a reduced outside diameter that requires less bone removal and thereby causes less trauma to the femur. The tube plate is available in both keyed and keyless options, but a single set of instruments is used for both.
